Seventeen-year-old Darrenkyis has always known that he was different from the other demons, but what separates him most is his love for the human psychic he met seven years ago while on a field trip to the Earth realm. He’s kept in touch with her ever since via ouija board and his yearly trips to Earth every Halloween, the only time adolescent demons can cross through the portals on their own.
After finding out that his interest in humanity has to do with far more than his love for Myrnah, Darrenkyis takes off into the human dimension, intent on learning more about what makes him tick. He eventually meets others along the way who help him piece together his past, allowing Darrenkyis to finally find his place in the world.
